The second installment of Bristol Entertainment’s,
A SUMMER SINGER SHOWCASE; Series at Downtown
Crossing was another triumph for Boston’s rising
stars! The outdoor audience was dancing out of
their seats in the warm weather as the performers
brought their own heat to the stage. Featured
artist Niki Cremmen represented Bristol
Entertainment along with Jaelin Rippe, Sasha
Yatchenko, Molly Reinold, and Jalen Rance on
August 7th with unsurpassed energy and spirit that
made this event a magical one for all in
attendance!
Yatchenko set the bar high as the first act. She
belted out an impressive original song on piano
and followed the number with a creative rendition
of Britney Spears’ sultry song, “Toxic.” Reinold
packed her own kind of punch, bringing her unique
vocal sound to the forefront with “Use Somebody,”
by the Kings of Leon. Make room for future R&B
star Jalen Rance! Rance captivated the audience
with his charmingly smooth renditions of Justin
Bieber’s, “As Long as You Love Me,” and Frank
Ocean’s, “We All Try.”
Rippe returned for her second showcase, lending
her vocals to an upbeat Maroon 5 tune before
concluding her set with a moving guitar version of
the classic ballad “Vienna” by the piano man
himself, Billy Joel. Our featured artist this
week, Niki Cremmen, really brought the star power
to the stage! Cremmen sang pop hits Kelly
Clarkson’s “A Moment Like This,” Adele’s “Set Fire
to the Rain” and a heartfelt finish on the
delicate ballad, “Almost Lover.” Some unbelievable
talent was displayed by these young stars that
evening and the audience at Downtown Crossing was
so excited to be a part of this really wonderful
event!
The final and third installment of our Summer
Singer Showcase will take place this Tuesday,
August 14th from 5:00pm – 6:30pm at 1 Summer
Street in Downtown Crossing. This event will shine
the spotlight on featured artist 15 year old
country/pop singer Jessie Chris, headlining an
all-new line-up of talented performers!
